New Experiences

Being spontaneous is a part of my family. It is a key factor in one's success and ability to make changes or impactful decisions in a short amount of time. This weekend, I was flown to New Orleans due to immediate help needed in finishing the construction of a hotel. At first, I dreaded the idea but soon came to realize how impactful of a learning experience this could be. I would be managing individuals hands on and would learn more about the construction of a building. This has shown me to always find the meaning behind the tasks I take on or else it will all be for nothing and essentially serve as wasted time.
When I reached New Orleans, I had to come together with management and figure out a game plan in order to bring the site back on track. It took forward thinking and experience to find out what would be most effective and how to get it done. This has displayed that one cannot truly master anything unless they have years and years of experience. It assists in decision making as the individual has confronted the situation before and knows how to go forward. For the future, in anything that I do, I must make sure for two things: the passion is there and I am willing to gain experience. With this, I will create an impact in any task I decide to partake in.
