This week in Independent Study and Mentorship, I have completed my display board for the annual Research Showcase. The showcase shows all the work I have done throughout the semester and the most important things the ISM students have learned/accomplished. I will be displaying my Original Work and the most significant essentials to entrepreneurship that I have discovered so far.
In the process of creating my display board, I decided that I needed to be different from the rest. Last year, I essentially created a 3-D board which attracted a lot of attention and many visitors to my setup. This year, I hope to accomplish the same thing. I decided to cut my board to make the top half seem like many buildings in a high-rise city. In a way, this shows entrepreneurship because in the future, I strive to manage real estate and transform a piece of land into a variety of hotels, apartments, office buildings, and more.
Another method I used to add to my board's uniqueness was that the titles for each section have depth to them. They stick off the board by about one centimeter which provides another interesting factor. Through thinking outside the box to find ways to make my board more interesting, I have challenged myself and learned how to create an intriguing display.
Next up is the final product, and I plan to start working on that in the near future. This will add to my knowledge and I must start early in order to learn the most. The sky's the limit, and I plan on reaching it.
