Original Work Completion

Throughout winter break, I have been diligently working on the Original Work for ISM. While researching potential franchises and beginning to put a plan together, I realized that this would not be the most helpful for my future. The franchisee business plan idea that I previously had only considers one franchise and gives all the information about it. In the future, I may not even explore looking into that franchise as things will change and new ones may appear or grow. Therefore, I decided to alter my Original Work. The purpose is still for my own benefit and it continues to serve as groundwork for my future career/life. The idea that I have based my Original Work around was essentially an Opportunity Book or Game Plan. This game plan showcases the potential industries I could dive into for the future (specifically hotel industry for the Original Work) and all the strategies, background research, and information about the industry. It is essential as it serves as the preliminary research behind a future avenue for me and will put me well ahead of others. It showcases many of my opportunities that I could have in the future which is important as I can continue to build upon this PowerPoint for the rest of my high school and college career. As I learn more and find more to research, I will add it to the PowerPoint and refer back to it in the future when I am deciding specifically which industry I would like to dive in with entrepreneurship (owning hotels, apartments, banks, etc.).
