Branching Out

This week in Independent Study and Mentorship, I continued thinking of ways that I could diversify myself and gain a deeper understanding in multiple sides of business. With entrepreneurship, it requires an individual to be well-versed in a variety of topics correlating to the business world. In the past week, I have been working on a list of all the important things I should learn more about. Some of the items on the list were the stock market, inspecting hotels, understanding Quickbooks, learning about finance, and more. I am going to take out at least an hour of my day every single day to dedicate to learning for my future. All of these topics I have listed interest me which will motivate me to continue expanding my knowledge about each subject. As time moves along, I will add more items to the list and look more into the details of every topic rather than an overview. My time in high school is limited and I do not want to live with many regrets. I know that if I do not work hard now, I will wish I had used my time more wisely and productively. Each day is a new opportunity to grow in a new way which is exactly what I aim to do.
